I was directed here by c1sissy, I think, not positive who she is on here for sure yet, sorry if I got the wrong person. But tried the educated guess, LOL, testing my smartness!! She directed me here from another site, and has become a great friend over the few years that I have known her on another site. I do not have Fibromyalgia or known of having anyhow. But I do have an autoimmune disease diagnosed so far with more test to come, thinking I have another that goes hand-in-hand with the first. I was diagnosed with Crohn's about 2 months ago and am now being tested for a few other things such as Lupus, Spondyloarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and few others can't remember.

Hi Sez, Thanks for letting us know where you found us at. It always helps when I know where people are finding me.
Feel free to post away. We have been quiet for a while. I have been away for a bit so I have a bit of work to accomlish on here. I have had some additional health issues non fibro related that needed attention.

I just sent another one from the About forum over to talk to Thomas. She is having the same issues he had about diagnosis. She emailed and said she liked it over here so she will probably convert. There are a slew of us that were pretty fed up with the way the forum was going so thanks for taking us, Julie Thank you for sending people, and no problem on taking you all, there is plenty of room here for everyone!

Thanks for the referals Julie, they are appreciated. We also have a mental health are in here as well, that is moderated by a professional. He also has a site that anyone can sign up at with a fictitous name etc... And he is wonderful at what he does. So anyone that is depressed can head over to him and have a chat with him and his moderators. We want to see everyone that is diagnoised with any of these syndromes/illnesses etc to have a good mental feeling about themselves. Depression is normal to a certain extent when diagnosed with this stuff, and some people can work through it and others cant. Even those who can work it out, still need to chat about things relating and not relating to this. when we feel good about ourselves it helps us to make it through each second of the day. And when we can do this, we can find out that we aren't as limited as we sometimes feel. Who would have thought when I was diagnoised that I would be self teachign myself? Sure, long haul, and lots of work, BUT I"m doing it!

I have already told some of the new members about this forum. I hate to say it but the people that have been on it for such a long time and haven't had the up to date treatment actually make people more depressed than they started. I have emailed them individually or I will get booted off. I just happened to mention in a different About Forum that I felt excluded from the "Club" on a certain forum and the host immediately asked me which forum it was because they didn't want to scare anyone away. One of the rules is that you don't name other forums (other than other forums) in another forum if you don' t have glowing remarks according to one of the hosts who answered me. It is pretty bad when you have to skirt every issue and watch what you say so that you don't get banned. I admit I was provoked during a discussion on politics that turned into religion which turned into me saying that the group was a bunch of biddies. I apologized of course but you get my drift from my previous posts that they refused my apology. (They actually should have been apologizing to me). I am sure I will convince a number of people who actually go on every day and ask questions. One gal has problems with CFS and her doctor keeps saying it is just depression. She would benefit over here and I will email her this evening. I will let her get the standard stuff of the other forum and then ask the same question here

Julie, everyone has the right to vote for who they wish to vote for. And have freedom of religion. Its not up to others to dictate to you your beliefs.
This is where tons of people go wrong, instead of discussing faith and politics, they dictate it. And this is wrong.
I hope that this makes sense?
You can always email your friends to come join us here with out any fear of reprisals. All we all need to do is read the before you post section which outlines basically respect to all, and consideration to others. We all have days when we dont' feel well, and are apt to go off when we dont mean to. On those days its good to start a post, get it out, then don't post, if that makes sense? And don't forget we have the venting section where you can post as well.
