lol, I know what you mean. We were invincible when we were young!

eek, I wouldn't even think about sneaking out of the house! My dad would have a radar and know I had done it and be waiting with the belt when I walked back in. Back then, they didn't have police calls when you got disciplined!

My children were good about that as well, they asked if they could go places, and I was a light sleeper, so I would know if they went out. Always having a young one about made me sleep very light, LOL.

Yes, our children forget that we were once young, and they also don't realize that discipline was more inforced upon us when we were younger. Smiley

I"m glad that your daughter is doing well, just make sure she favors it for a while so it heals good for her.

I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter falling! Is everything else ok? Her back and neck? I would be a nervous wreck!

Just make sure she takes good care of it.

My youngest sprained his ankle in school playing batmitten. He still is having a bit of difficulty with it. Though, kids think they are invincible. He didn't do everything that the doctor told him to do. He would not use the crutches at school, and now is struggling with it healing. Doc said that it is almost healed.

He takes ibuprofen for anti-inflammatory issues with it.

I'm glad that your day is a bit good. I guess that is what we hope for. Days with some good parts to it Smiley

Hi Sez,

Once again, welcome to the forum.

I'm sorry that you have been through so much, and lost so many in your life. My heart goes out to you.

I'm sure you are proud of your daughters award! That is totally awesome.

I did crafts for 10 years before my injuries. I miss it so much. I guess getting into web design has helped a bit. But even that has been a struggle with the pain and health issues, of which I am working on.

For pain I take hydrocodne and oxycotin. Doc says that morpine is the last resort as there isnt' anything out there that he could give me after the morpine. He has taught me to learn to live a bit with the pain and try not to depend on the meds. Which is difficult, but I do it so I don't chance not getting any medictions. He is really strict about what I take and how often.

No worries on your spelling. We all, i think have some issues with that! And to depend on a spell checker isn't always a good thing because I had mis spelled opinion once, and it gave me onion in replacement for it! Go figure, LOL.

In regards to your memory problems, have you tried any tapes that help with this? I had gotten a cassette tape online once that was a subliminal tape and it helped me big time with my studies on web design. I don't think I could have done it had I not used those.

Please feel free to add more of what you are interested in to your postings. We are always interested in hearing about what our members are interested in, as well as how they handle things on a daily basis.

Have a great day.
