Actually Tom, at the bog we had been discussing the security issues with the other forum. It needed upgrading, but the mods were falling apart in some of the forums as well as a lot of security issues.
What I totally like about this one is the way that it shows the IP address of the people as they register, something that wasn't working too good in the other one. Not sure why.
That is why I deleted Tina and Peter, I found out they were the same person and were in here trying to spam. I deleted a number of their posts.
Now, i just need to get used to the admin features in here.
And yes, Mik and Minstrel were lots of help in my decision. Mik did the research on this one and a few others, and the security on this one was worth the switch. I was going to email you, but figured I would just surprise everyone with the new adddress and name.
I sent out a bulk email to everyone. So all who are memebers know that we have moved. The index on the other site is still up, and it directs to here when people click on the links on it.
Once I learn a bit more about seo etc.. I know it will move in here.
Now that I moved this on the other one I am donating space to someone in my share and prayer group for a blog, Linda in W. knows the girl I am talking about. She is in the same group and joined as I had sent the link to the sap list.
Well off to the tub and other things that need doing. I have a membership that is about to expire at clipart.com and I am trying to get my list of searchable photos down, of which I still have a long way to go! lol.
I am so glad that everyone so far has been happy with this one. Just be aware of any bugs and report them in a thread if you find any. I suppose we can start a thread just in case. Also let me know how your admin stuff works out for you, if you have any problems.
